John Andrew
John Andrew is a serif font that has some hand drawn and uncial influences. Inspired by a hand lettered sample in an old "how to" book on calligraphy, John Andrew is named for the designer's father. The font has an elegance and grace to it that makes it a fantastic choice for a display face. Yet, it still retains a warmth that makes it very approachable.
Jukebox fonts are available in OpenType format and downloadable packages contain both .otf and .ttf versions of the font. They are compatible on both Mac and Windows. All fonts contain basic OpenType features as well as support for Latin-based and most Eastern European languages.
Notable Use: John Andrew was used on the cover of and for the pagination in the third edition of Mark B Ledenbach's "Vintage Halloween Collectibles", published in 2014.
